Sono indicati i passaggi da un elemento all’altro per somma (SUMMA) o perdita (REMISSA) di una delle quattro qualità : caldo (CALIDITAS) , umido (HUMIDITAS) , freddo (FRIGIDITAS) , secco (SICCITAS) .
Inoltre compaiono le combinazioni possibili e impossibili (COMBINATIO POSSIBILIS , verticali od orizzontali , e IMPOSSIBILIS , diagonali) fra diverse qualità .
